Yard Manager

Essential Job Functions Include:
-Supervising yard staff in hauling, launching, blocking, and moving boats safely and efficiently
-Scheduling and prioritizing daily tasks, maintenance, and repairs in coordination with office and service teams
-Overseeing yard equipment operation (travel lift, forklifts) and ensuring proper training and safety protocols 
-Conducting regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment 
-Monitoring inventory of supplies and coordinating with vendors or management for replenishment
-Communicating effectively with customers regarding service timelines, costs, and yard policies


Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
-Reliable transportation
-Punctuality and dependability in daily operations
-Ability to respond to emergency calls or storm situations outside normal working hours
-Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, and walk around and in boats
-Ability to lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
-Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
-Excellent leadership and organizational skills
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Ability to work with the public and employees in a courteous and respectful manner

Preferred Experience, but not required:
Familiarity with marina operations, boats, or marine equipment
-Previous customer service or administrative experience

 Pay varies based on experience.
